JANUARY 2025 — Welcome back to the New Year!
As we kick off 2025, we’re excited to share the latest from our AI research community. We’re now accepting abstracts for our NSF AI Spring School Poster Session. This year’s Spring School will also offer participants the opportunity to earn an AI Microcredential Badge and will feature distinguished speakers from leading institutions such as Google and Johns Hopkins. Recently, the Bangalore Neuromorphic Computing Workshop explored how biological principles can enhance AI.
We also want to celebrate Dr. Dhireesha Kudithipudi, MATRIX’s Founding Director, and doctoral student Tej Pandit for their groundbreaking Nature article in neuromorphic computing systems—a field pushing the boundaries of energy-efficient, brain-inspired AI.
